DID YOU KNOW?

Swimming is one of the best activities for the entire body. You work against the resistance of the water, and stay cool and comfortable while getting a low impact workout.

Swim Lessons

The Kingsbury Club is proud to bring you its swim lesson program. The swim lessons are based on the American Red Cross program, with our focus on high quality and low student-to-teacher ratios. There are several levels to choose from depending upon your child’s comfort and/or swimming ability. Classes range from our Water Babies, which begins at 6-months, to the Coached Swim Clinic taken by preteens and teenagers, and everything in between. The goal of the program is to create safety awareness around the water, while building a strong, efficient swimmer that enjoys the water for fitness as well as recreation. If you have any questions regarding your child’s swimming level, or any general questions about our program, please call the aquatic director.

Participants will be taught how to design a workout, read a pace clock and encouraged to continue swimming whether for fitness or competition.

Private/Semi Private Lessons

Private swim lessons are designed to meet your child’s individual needs and goals, This one-on-one experience will benefit those students who require additional instruction and support. This type of instruction is also beneficial to the more advanced student who wants to fine tune their swimming skills.

Arrangements can be made through the Aquatics Department.
