Recreational Swim Team

The Recreational Swim Team is open to children ages 6-18 and takes place throughout the entire year. The focus of the program is to offer a fun, safe, and competitive team. Athletes also learn proper swimming techniques and complimentary racing skills, all while satisfying that competitive craving.

All meets are dual meets (one on one) which take anywhere from 2-3 hours. The team competes within the Southeastern Massachusetts Swim League against teams from surrounding towns. Parents are encouraged to take a large role on the team, including offering to help with one of the volunteer positions, carpooling, and cheering the kids on.

Team Guidelines

• Parents are responsible for transportation of their child/children to and from all practices and swim meets.
• Parents must remain within the Kingsbury Club during practices.
• Parents are required to purchase the team uniform (shirt, suit). The apparel is available at the Pro Shop.
• Parent Duties: the following are volunteer jobs the parents must help with in order for the swim team and swim meets to operate:
  • Timers for meets
  • Starter for the meets
  • Bullpen manager for meets
  • Photographer
  • Filling out ribbons
• Parents are encouraged to attend all meets and support the team to the best of their ability.

Registration Information

We encourage you to register online, but registration may also be completed by email, in person, or over the phone, on or after, the sign-up date.

If you do not register online, please dowload and complete a registration form available on the Schedules page. This form can be dropped off in person at the aquatics office or front desk, read onto the aquatic voicemail system at (781) 585-3883, ext. 23, or you may send the information via email.

All payments must be made before the session start date. No refunds are given after the start of the session.

Make-up classes are allowed on a space available basis. No more than one make-up per session.
