Fall through Spring: Ladies Team Tennis

A commitment to team tennis is the best way to improve your game while enjoying the thrill of competition! Each team consists of a minimum of 8 players who practice once a week with a 4-1 player/pro ratio, 6 of whom play a match each week. For more flexible scheduling, some players prefer to play as a three-person team with two players being responsible for covering the practice and matches.

Teams are leveled by ability using the NTRP rating system. Practice/match schedules are:

  • Championship (4.2-4.5) - matches Wednesdays 9-11am
  • Aces teams (3.8-4.2) - practice: Mondays 1-2:30pm; matches Wednesdays 9-11am
  • 2 Division 1 teams (3.5-3.8) - practice: Mondays 9-10:30am; matches Wednesdays 11am-1pm
  • 2 Division 2 teams (3.0-3.5) - practice: Mondays 10:30am-12pm; home matches Wednesdays 11:30am-1:30pm, away matches Wednesdays 11am-1pm
  • 2 Division 3 teams (2.5-3.0) - practice Tuesdays 11am-12:30pm; matches Thursday 9-11am

There is no play during public school vacation weeks. Matches begin in late September or early October and continue until early May. Some divisions have a "Bye" in their schedule. If a bye is scheduled at home, the team is responsible for covering the courts.
